Installed this in my Dreamcast last weekend and the difference is night and day—the console runs whisper quiet now compared to the stock fan. The kit itself was straightforward to fit, and even with my shaky soldering skills everything lined up perfectly. Glad I finally pulled the trigger on this on

Swapping the stock fan for this kit dropped the noise noticeably during long play sessions, and the connector lined up with the console's header without any fiddling. Only gripe is that the screws were a bit fiddly to thread, but it's a solid upgrade overall.
