This adapter converts the male 9-pin mini-DIN connector on the Genesis YPbPr cable to a male Turbo Duo/R/RX & Supergrafx connector.

There is no out-of-the-box solution for using the Turbo Duo/R/RX & Supergrafx with the Genesis YPbPr cable. The RGB kit by Voultar is the only approved solution and eligible for support during the Genesis cable warranty period. Self-installation kits or other similar types of services are NOT supported.

Finally got my Genesis YPbPr cable working on the Turbo Duo with this little adapter, and the picture looks fantastic on my CRT. The 9-pin mini-DIN to Turbo connector fits snugly with no wiggle. Way cheaper than hunting down a dedicated cable.

Was a bit nervous about adapter quality for retro stuff, but this thing snapped in snug with zero wiggle on my Duo-R. Picture through my Genesis cable is clean, no sync drops or ghosting, exactly what I needed to ditch that ugly stock hookup. Construction feels solid enough that I don't worry about

The 9-pin mini-DIN to Turbo connector fits snugly with no wiggle, and finally my Duo-RX displays sharp YPbPr video on the CRT without any adapter hackery. If you've got a Genesis cable lying around, this is the cleanest way to make it work.
